John Smykala, Managing Director / Sales & Marketing Manager

John is the top man at RMD Power and Cooling. When he gets a little time off he enjoys fishing, skiing and playing golf badly.

 

Fiona Smykala, Director / Project Co-ordinator Fiona is a company director with responsibility for organising projects. She is also responsible for overseeing the weekly running of the management team and supporting departments. She enjoys Tai Chi in her spare time.  

Gavin Maxwell, Operations / IT / Facilities / SHEQ Manager

Gavin oversees the operational processes and controls within the company.  A family man, Gavin relaxes playing football and spending time with his kids.

 

John Peden, External Sales Consultant - Scotland

A people person to his core, John’s role is to secure new customers and business opportunities.

John is passionate about car restoration and keeping fit with weight lifting.

 

Jacki Bartlett, External Sales Consultant - England

Jackie promotes the RMD portfolio of products and services to existing and prospective clients and offers sales support. She is a keen gardener and an ambitious cook with a penchant for rock and heavy metal.

 

Barry Ferguson, Hardware Sales Supervisor

Barry ensures that our customers have everything they need. He is responsible for project management, proposals and site visits. With four kids, most of his free time is spent with his family.

 

Stewart Todd, Senior Engineer

Stewart is responsible for UPS and generator installations, electrical installation design, technical support and on-site surveys. He relaxes with a game of golf, fishing and walking in the hills behind his house with his Labrador.

 

David Buchanan, Customer Services Manager

David runs the customer service department and is responsible for managing the ordering and logistics process and approves all sales and purchase order.  He is also in charge of all engineering works including maintenance, installation and repair.

When he’s not at work, David likes to put down his Blackberry and get away for a few days on his motorbike.

 

Ross Barclay, Service Engineer - Scotland

Ross is responsible for the installation and maintenance of uninterruptible power supplies. A sports lover, Ross enjoys water-skiing, playing golf and getting out on his motorbike.

 

Dave Greaves, Service Engineer - England

Dave commissions, installs and maintains UPS systems. He has a keen interest in anything related to aviation.

 

Scot Docherty, Service Sales Consultant

Scot deals service sales. He loves music and spends his spare time rehearsing with his band.

 

Wendy Stewart, Order Processing Administrator

Wendy deals with customer orders and ensures deliveries are on time as required. She is a football fan and likes getting outdoors with her dog and family.

 

Lyndsay Henderson, Internal Hardware Sales Support

As sales support, Lyndsay prepares proposals and assists her colleagues. She enjoys going to the gym and letting her hair down with her friends.

 

Wendy Wilkins, Finance & HR Manager Wendy is responsible for all aspects of RMD’s financial matters. Her favourite ways to wind down are a walk in the hills and a night out with friends.  

Tom Green, Service Co-ordinator As service co-ordinator, Tom deals with fault calls and organises maintenance visits.  A fan of the open road, Tom is another member of the team who loves his motorbike.
