Preventative Maintenance Visits

 

Just like the fire alarm in your building, UPS systems require regular testing and preventative maintenance to make sure they work perfectly when called to action.

RMD recommends scheduling regular preventative maintenance visits to give you peace of mind that your systems are in excellent working order, with any issues fixed before they become a serious problem. Depending on your requirements, visits may be yearly, bi-annually, quarterly or even monthly.

Expert assessment

When RMD engineers visit your site, they will review the UPS system’s historical logs, inspect fans, cabling, battery terminals, and test the batteries. Our engineers undertake training with all major UPS manufacturers so you can always rely on their expert knowledge of the equipment and different types of setup.

After completing testing, the engineer will then make recommendations for improvements and adjustments. Where possible, they will fix any problems during the same visit or, alternatively, they will schedule a return visit in the near future.

We understand that even short periods of downtime can be problematic, so we always work with clients to agree on a convenient time for works to be completed. This includes evenings and weekends as well as bank holidays. Our engineers are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
